Returns & Refund Policy

1.1 Clients have 3–5 business days from the date of collection or delivery to report any issues.

1.2 Returned items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition as received, with original packaging.

1.3 Returns are strictly for alterations only, including:

• Sizing adjustments
• Minor design corrections as agreed upon

1.4 Items that have been worn, damaged, torn, stained, or altered by the client are NOT eligible for return or refund.

1.5 Clients are responsible for delivering dresses back for alterations. Courier clients must cover return courier costs. Black Barbie by TK will cover courier costs for returning the garment after approved alterations.

2.1 All garments are fully inspected before collection or dispatch.

2.2 If a client believes a garment is defective, it will be professionally inspected by Black Barbie by TK.

2.3 No refund will be issued where damage is caused by:

• Incorrect wearing or forcing the garment
• Mishandling or negligence
• Normal wear and tear
• Failure to follow garment care instructions

2.4 Delicate fabrics require reasonable care. Any damage occurring after collection or delivery is the responsibility of the client.

3.1 A FULL 100% REFUND will be issued ONLY IF the client received:

• The wrong dress, or
• A dress that is a different colour or design from what was ordered

3.2 Where a refund is approved outside of supplier error:

• 70% of the purchase price will be refunded
• 30% will be retained to cover materials, labour and any other production costs for the dress made

3.3 Our dresses are tailor made for each client and they are NON-REFUNDABLE, except where the error is entirely due to Black Barbie by TK (3.1).

3.4 If an event or occasion is cancelled for any reason:

• No refunds will be issued
• The client remains responsible for settling any outstanding balance and collecting the garment

4.1 Shipping and courier fees are non-refundable.

4.2 Clients are responsible for return courier costs.

4.3 Black Barbie by TK will cover courier costs for returning garments after approved alterations.
